4. Definition of bribery

“Bribery” means refers to the act of offering, giving, promising, asking, agreeing, receiving, accepting, or soliciting a bribe. A “bribe” means a financial or other inducement or reward for action which is illegal, unethical, a breach of trust or improper in any way. Bribes can take the form of money, gifts, loans, fees, hospitality, services, discounts, the award of a contract or any other advantage or benefit. Bribery is not limited to the act of offering a bribe. If an individual is on the receiving end of a bribe and they accept it, they are also breaking the law. Bribery is illegal and all forms of bribery are strictly prohibited. Employees or contractors must not engage in any form of bribery, whether it be directly, passively, or through a third party (such as an agent or distributor). Specifically, Pod Point’s staff and representatives.
